Quest Brothers Classic Cars was established by Paul and Ian Quest to share their expertise in the restoration, servicing and maintenance of classic cars in the Cambridgeshire area.

QBCC cater for all the usual British and European brands and have particular experience with Mercedes Benz, classic BMW, and Alfa Romeo.

As classic car enthusiasts and owners for many years, the pair initially recognised the need for reliable, high-quality support in the area. With a full team and an extensively equipped workshop with body shop and spray booth now at their disposal, the team is able to deliver everything from a basic service to a complete nut and bolt restoration.

Inspection and assessment

A full assessment of your car is undertaken right from the start, enabling issues to be identified and resolved before they become serious or lead to an unexpected roadside stop. Anything found can be monitored, and when the time is right, dealt with.

Complete inspection reports can be provided to vehicle owners, and pre-purchase inspections are available.

Servicing, repairs, and MOTs

QBCC cater for almost all classic marques, from Aston to Austin and Mercedes to Maserati. As well as servicing, repairs, and upgrades, MOTs can be arranged on your behalf through a neighboring centre.

Mechanical Restorations

QBCC work with you to determine the best way forward for your particular situation. Have a matching numbers collectable car that’s been in the family for generations? Then you’ll probably want an engine rebuild to preserve originality. But if you’ve just bought a lovable but scruffy MGB with a patchy history, an off-the-shelf exchange engine from a well-known supplier will likely be a more cost effective option.

From engine and component rebuilds to complete mechanical overhauls, QBCC will work with you every step of the way to find a solution that is best for your needs.

Bodywork – from minor to major and beyond!

QBCC’s highly experience Coachworks team are prepared and experience for all needs and budgets. Need some simple welding to improve appearances or pass your next MOT? Or do you want to impress at the next classic car show, or go for a complete bare-metal respray to win a concours trophy? QBCC’s Coachworks are equipped for both ends of the spectrum and everything in between.

Concierge Service

For many classic car owners, the convenience of collection and delivery increases the enjoyment of their classic. QBCC can drive or transport your vehicle to their workshop and can have it back at your home or office, ready for a weekend away.
